Hi, I’m Mariam, a portrait and event photographer based in Berlin. Happy to meet you!

I’m a quiet observer at heart. I give people and moments the space to unfold naturally, often moving gently in the background to capture what happens when no one feels the need to perform for the camera.

My photography is about people as they are and moments as they truly feel: the warmth in a glance, a spontaneous laugh, a touched smile, the subtle interactions that might otherwise go unnoticed. Guided by instinct, light and a deep sensitivity to what is unfolding around me, I create photographs that feel alive, honest and deeply personal.

When we work together, I want there to be enough room for things to unfold naturally. I don’t believe in watching the clock so closely that a beautiful moment gets interrupted — whether that means making space for an extra outfit, a spontaneous detour, or catching that last bit of golden light. And if our session results in more beautiful photographs than the number included in your package, I’m often happy to include a few extra surprises.
