Promises To The Sea (2018)
Promises To The Sea is another self-initiated short film, shot in the summer of 2018.
More precisely it could be labeled as an experimental travel documentary, through which I put my long-lived dream of making a personal short film about the sea into action.
Through capturing fleeting moments of time spent by the water, in the family vacation house, in the company of my parents and grandmother, I wanted to create a filmic time document, that would make it possible to emotionally travel back in memory and remember. I created a short film as a memory for us, and primarily for me, to cherish. To hold the images of one of many summers spent together tight, eternalized in a filmic form.
