Mariam likes to compose art pieces that struggle with her spiritual journeys, her inner overcoming of her darkest, most personal battles. Photography has always been a way for her to visualize fantasies and dreams, to overcome heartbreak, anxieties and fears, keeping eyes on the light that always shines through. She finds her main source of inspiration in love, the female condition, and that inner voice that always whispers in peace and light. Simple objects of everyday life, as well as fleeting meaningful moments that feel like a lifetime, but last just an instant, are an obsession of hers to capture.
As an animator, Mariam likes to work on films that deal with humanist and psychological topics.
When she is not working on art, she's either meditating, dreaming away, debating intensely over a topic she's trying to overcome, or writing her thoughts down.
Mariam is always up for collaborating on little projects or having nice talks over a coffee. ♥ Write her up, if you have an interesting project going or if you'd just like to say hi!
